Yes they do

After doing some research online, I found out that bunnies sleep with their eyes open! How neat. I never knew that.

Rabbits mostly sleep during the day. They often sleep with their eyes open so its hard to tell when they are sleeping. However a giveaway is that when they are sleeping rabbits often twitch, and their noses stop wiggling. (from http://www.fuzzy-rabbit.com/behaviourfaq.htm)

They're crepuscular - meaning they're most active at dawn and dusk. If they're really confomrtable, they'll sprawl out in odd positions and will close their eyes to sleep, but they dose off quite a bit with their eyes open.

My two always have their eyes open, too. That's gotta be a strange way to sleep. I don't see how it can be restful.

yeah it's fun to watch my archi - she would sleep on her side in her cage and the first time i saw her like that her nose wasn't moving, couldn't tell if she was breathing and i gasped thinking she died. my gasp scared the pellets outta the poor girl! blew me away cuz i walked right up to the cage and she didn't know i was there! out like a light! eyes wide open!
